Charitable registration #88987 4970 RR0001

Registered as a charitable organization in 1978, T.E.A.D. currently assists more than 245 riders a year from Hamilton and its surrounding areas. We provide a number of opportunities for the emotionally, physically and mentally handicapped to enjoy the benefits of therapeutic riding. Along with Spring and Fall riding sessions of ten to twelve weeks, our riders can also participate in an eight week Winter Session, an integrated March Break Camp and a Summer Camp. We are a not for profit organization who relies on donations and grants for our survival.

Donations can be made in several ways. Monetary donations are of course greatly appreciated, but you can also contribute by lowering our maintenance fees by donating common office supplies, maintenance supplies, and horse and barn supplies. Volunteering your time to help with the upkeep of our facilities is another way to ensure that T.E.A.D.'s unique therapy program survives. Please check out our wishlist for a detailed listing of our needs.

We do require complete medical clearance before accepting a client, for their safety as well as our piece of mind. The safety of our riders and our volunteers is the first priority of T.E.A.D. All the necessary forms can be found in the dropdown menu at the top of each page, or as a link on their related pages.

Throughout the year we hold several fundraising events that help generate much needed income for T.E.A.D. Our most popular and rewarding are our Night at the Races and our annual Golf tournament. Check out our Calendar of events to see what is going on at T.E.A.D.

All of us at T.E.A.D. would like to thank the many volunteers and benefactors who keep us operational. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns about our program.

Thank you.
