Therapeutic Riding

Horses add a three dimensional movement that exactly mimics the way a person walks. The pelvis movement , that is usually forward, back and side to side, is recreated while a rider is sitting on horseback.

Equine Canada, Coach Award Recipient

"Congratulations" are in order for Pat who was recognized at the February 3rd Equine Canada Awards event in St. Johns Newfoundland for certified coaches across Canada in the first annual coaching awards.  These awards were for the coach or instructor that exemplifies the national Coaching Certification Program through coaching/teaching skills, concern for safety and equine welfare, business practice and support of the national rider and coaching programs.  Over 50 nominations came in from all over the country from youth, adult, amateurs, peers, employers and barn staff telling Equine Canada why each coach was doing a great job and deserved to be awarded.

Pat's winning category was Instructor Coach, Therapeutic.    Good show Pat!
