Sarah Ernest is a lifelong horse lover who has always found peace, grounding, and power in the presence of horses. As a member of TEAD’s Board of Directors, she brings that same heart-centered connection to her focused work strengthening philanthropy and sustainability — helping TEAD grow its impact while remaining rooted in community care.

Sarah is a Best-Selling Author, a 100 Women to KNOW in North America, 2025 Women We Admire, and a Top 40 Under 40 in Canada recipient. She is also the Founder and CEO of Ernest For Good Inc., a boutique consultancy on a mission to empower nonprofits and leaders to energize their fundraising and brighten their brand — unapologetically.

A seasoned philanthropy and communications professional, Sarah has raised over $30 million for causes across North America. Her Amazon Best-Selling book, RETHINK PHILANTHROPY: Breaking Rules, Raising Funds and Doing Good, challenges outdated norms and inspires organizations to embrace bold, fearless fundraising.

Sarah became an executive at 28 in Silicon Valley and has since held senior roles in major social impact organizations across Canada and the U.S. She is also Chair of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society’s Prancing With The Stars gala and dedicates her time to mentoring women, youth, and grassroots leaders.
